Lead developer for WebX, a proof-of-concept online “operating system.”

A few years ago, I discovered the Pennypacker Dock. At the time, I was really interested in online operating systems like YouOS (now defunct), and also interested in learning more about scripting libraries. So, I decided to hack together something using the Prototype Window Class. In the summer of 2008, after a few days of hacking, WebX was born.

The web is awash with tech-related blogging, but most of it is junk. Part of the problem is the weblog model itself. Because it is so easy to write a quick blurb or article without any real thought, research and analysis, we tend to get a lot of worthless stuff.

We want to make the diamonds rise to the top, by encouraging our contributors to submit their best technology articles to Dawning Valley. That’s all we accept — top quality technology content.
