Here's a list of some of the other stuff I've done:

andrewmin.com (this site)

AndrewMin.com

What did you think, that this site automatically updated itself? Heck no! The site used to use the Glossy Blue template, created by Chet Mancini. I finally got enough courage to learn a little bit of CSS and coded my own. The homepage was originally hosted by Chet. Then, Tim Fau hosted it for a short while, before I finally bought my own hosting at DreamHost. My logo was created by Chet Cobb, a great guy with MS Paint. Lastly, I would have never gotten this far without the wonderful Quanta Plus (we don't need no stinkin' CMS).

WebX

I was playing around with some JavaScript one day, and decided to make an online operating system. It's very betaish, so don't expect tons of features. But I'm hoping I'll keep this one alive for a while.

Graveyard

Everyone has great ideas. But not everyone has the patience or the interest to finish them. I'm one of those people. So here's a graveyard of projects I started on, but never finished.

while(alive) { actgeek=true; } (my blog)

Blog

I've also started a Wordpress-based technology-oriented blog at http://www.blog.andrewmin.com/. Right now, it's a WIP and hopefully it won't die like the others.

Reason it died? I got bored.

IM Watch

Born: February 2nd, 2006 at http://imwatch.wordpress.com/. Died January 3rd, 2007.

Dead Project

IM Watch was my first real attempt at blogging. I basically reviewed every instant messenger I could get my hands on. Then I got bored ;-).

Kubuntu Noob

Born: December 20th, 2006 at http://kubuntunoob.wordpress.com/. Died January 15th, 2007.

Dead Project

This was supposed to be the journey of a new Linux user (me!) through the land of Linux. It still has some great tips in it, but was obseleted by Free Software Magazine (which actually had readers!).

OS Wars

Born: February 5th, 2007 at http://oswars.wordpress.com/. Died April 7th, 2007.

Dead Project

As if there weren't enough Linux review sites out there, OS Wars came along. It didn't last that long, but I found out I loved Post2Blog.

This is the only thing on the list that didn't die because I got bored. See, it was supposed to go around interviewing small time developers. That way, I'd benefit, and they'd get free publicity. Unfortunately, it didn't work. I only interviewed one developer, Phil Crosby of Install Pad. Why? Because software programmers seem to be perceivers. I actually spoke to several other companies (Babelgum, Celtx, and Orca Desktop), but none of them worked out.
